Kiwanis International Convention

Remember that the Kiwanis International Convention will be coming to Nashville for 2009! The dates are June 24—28 and the Board/Officers would like to make a special request for as many of our club members to attend this year as possible. As an extra incentive, the Board/Officers have voted to allow a $50 credit on your quarterly dues if you register and attend the 2009 Convention. Registration can be completed online or via a paper application. When you pay your Registration Fee, simply bring the receipt to Tom Brashear and he will post a credit of $50 on your quarterly statement. If you register by May 1, the cost of a KY/T/ District Volunteer is only $100. This is a great deal and we hope that many of our club members will take advantage of this opportunity!!!! Also, those members who will work at International Convention will
wear our white logo polo shirts. Faye Dedman will help anyone secure a shirt that needs a replacement or needs to order one for the first time. Shirts will cost $22.00.

Gregg Baines (surgery, chemo), Mrs. Elizabeth Gallaher, Mac Griffin’s wife Terri (continued good health), Charlcie Finley’s brother-in-law, Ed and Susie James in the loss of Ed’s mother, and T.O. Cragwall’s grandson Daniel Harris (recently deployed to Iraq).
